For international businesses, advertising in China can be tricky.

There’s red tape to navigate, cultural barriers to overcome, and a totally different media landscape to get to grips with — and that’s just scratching the surface.

Despite that, the Chinese market offers a huge and unprecedented opportunity for western brands prepared to crack it.

And that’s why we created AdChina.io: a first-of-its-kind platform that makes advertising in China easier, more affordable, and more accessible than ever before.

But what is the platform, exactly, and how does it work?

    Read on to find out.

    Introduction to AdChina.io

In its simplest form, AdChina.io is an all-in-one SaaS tool that lets international businesses advertise on each of the leading channels in China, all from an English platform they can trust.

Say goodbye to learning how to use multiple ad interfaces in Mandarin, and say hello to one, streamlined platform that has it all.

With AdChina.io, you’ll be able to run laser-targeted ads on:

    • WeChat
    • Baidu
    • Douyin
    • Tencent Video
    • Yingyongbao
    • Tencent News
    • Tencent QQ
    • Toutiao
    • Xigua Video

And we’re always adding new channels to the platform, too, as and when they emerge.

Ultimately, AdChina.io gives businesses a way to target their ideal customer, optimize ad costs, access comprehensive reports, and advertise in China, without all the hassle.

    But AdChina.io isn’t just an advertising tool…

With a free AdChina.io account, you’ll also have access to our members-only marketplace where you’ll be able to order bespoke content marketing packages, Chinese account set-up services, and so much more.

Create your free account and unlock the world’s most important market today.

    When did AdChina.io launch?

AdChina was originally launched in 2007, starting as a digital marketing agency that helped international businesses advertise in China.

Since then, we’ve shifted to a SaaS model that puts businesses in control of their own advertising strategies in China, without having to rely on an agency if they don’t want to.

This means we’re able to guarantee 100% transparency across the entire process, no matter who is running your campaigns. Simply open up the AdChina.io dashboard and you’ll be able to track and monitor your ads in real-time, even if you’re working with an agency.

Who is the team behind AdChina.io?

Led by our CEO, Jie Zhang, the AdChina.io team is made up of over twenty staff who have over 150 years of combined experience in Chinese advertising.

Half of the team is based in Oslo, where we work directly with clients, and the other half is based in Shanghai, which deals with operations. This allows us to cover all bases and work with clients across the world, no matter where they’re based.

How many customers do we serve?

We’re proud to work with thousands of customers across a wide range of industries, including:

    • E-commerce
    • Education
    • Real estate
    • Retail
    • FMCG
    • Tourism
    • Games and apps

    Where are our customers located?

Most of our customers are in the US, Europe and Asia, but AdChina.io can be used from anywhere in the world. We’re a truly global platform and that’s how we like it.

    What’s the pricing like?

We offer four plans that make advertising in China cost-effective for businesses of all sizes. These include:

    AdChina-Pricing

We also have an Enterprise Plan if you’re looking for a custom package, as well as additional, non-subscription services in our marketplace.

    What’s the typical ROI?

That’ll depend on the amount you spend, and the industry you’re in.

But, as a quick indicator, we’re used to increasing weekly leads by 100% without increasing CPL — just like we did for this real estate company a year or so ago.

We also helped one of the world’s leading universities significantly increase prospectus downloads from Chinese students, and sell out its virtual fair far quicker than expected.

Drop us a line if you want us to dig a little deeper.

What kind of reporting is available?

    We know that transparency matters.

That’s why the AdChina.io dashboard is updated every thirty seconds with key data from every ad you’re running, so you can always stay on top of your campaigns.

You can also access in-depth audience reports to find out exactly who your ads are reaching, which you can use to fine-tune your targeting in future campaigns.

And remember: you can use these reporting features whenever, and however, you want — you’re in full control. You can share data with a third-party, keep everything in-house, or find a balance between the two.
